Caltowie became host once again to another amazing Chilled Out n’ Fired Up Festival on Saturday March 22nd. Over 1200 people converged on the old Caltowie Oval.

When the Caltowie Chilled Out ‘n’ Fired Up Music Festival (COFU) rolls around this year, it’s not just about cracking tunes, top-notch food, and an awesome lineup of Aussie music talent – it’s about a community coming together to make a difference.

Highly praised music festival Chilled Out ‘n’ Fired Up to rock rural SA in 2025.

Adelaide’s rock royalty, and ARIA-winning legends, The Superjesus, led by powerhouse Sarah McLeod, will headline the cast for 2025. This iconic South Aussie band rose to fame in the 90's and continues to wow crowds with their catalogue of anthems like Gravity and Down Again. Joining them is the chaotic and irresistible alt-rock charm of 'Molly Rocket', bringing a fresh twist on '90s nostalgia with hits from their debut EP Syrup.

On arrival you’ll find a stack of food and drink options to keep fuelled up and hydrated. From smoky barbecue to vegan delights to gourmet yiros, plus licensed bars including local SA brewers, there’s something to satisfy every taste bud. And if you’re planning to stay for the whole weekend, on-site camping is available. It’s first-come, first-served, so be sure to claim your spot early.

Fun-loving larrikins Beddy Rays to headline at Caltowie in 2024. Supporting headline acts include all-female rock band, The Buoys, along with Adelaide’s energetic ARIA nominated, West Thebarton.

Caltowie goes from a population of 50 to 1,300 as the 4th annual Caltowie COFU breaks record crowd: 1,160 ticket holders, 50 artists, 45 crew and volunteers, 60 vendors and staff.

For a little town in regional SA this is beyond enormous!

We thank each and every person who has contributed to this year’s event… a record crowd also means record money received that we can put back into the community to help fight not only the stigma around mental health but also help educate our younger children around mental health and give them all the tools as they reach adulthood to hopefully one day reduce the impact of mental health on each and every person!

The award-winning Caltowie Chilled Out ‘n’ Fired Up Festival in on again this March, brining the small town of Caltowie to life with the best full day music gathering in rural South Australia. Each year the festival comes back bigger and strong, with the 2022 event selling out! 2023 will be no different with two illustrious acts of the Aussie rock and alternative scene in the 90s and 00s, Jebediah and Bodyjar, set to headline.
