SMALL TOWN FESTIVAL FINALIST IN 2023 SA MUSIC AWARDS - BEST MAJOR FESTIVAL

SA Music Awards announced the nominations for their award categories on Wednesday 11th October.  The coveted industry nominated and awarded finalists were announced via social media.

“It’s kinda surreal to think that our little town of 50 people is now on the map for a Major Festival Award.  We started out as a bunch of friends with a passion for music, good food and brews… just goes to show you that with a great supportive team around you anything is possible”. says Ben.

2024 will see the 5th anniversary of the Caltowie Chilled Out ‘n’ Fired Up Music Festival with a core focus on South Australian music artists, local food and drinks while raising awareness and funds for mental health services and programs in the region.  The 2024 festival will be held on Saturday 23rd March 2024 at the Memorial Oval, Caltowie.

Joining Caltowie Chilled Out ‘n’ Fired Up Music Festival as finalists in the Best Major Festival category are: Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival, Froth & Fury Fest, Nice Day To Go To The Club Festival and Vintage Vibes Festival.

Also recognised in this year’s annual award nominations are a number of artists who have performed at the Caltowie festival over the last few years, including Clover, Kelly Brouhaha, Alana Jagt, Axe & The Ivory, and Oscar the Wild.

The 2023 SA Music Awards will be staged at Woodville Town Hall (Adelaide) on the 8th of November.
