Gyroscope locked in for Caltowie COFU 2026 as final lineup drops

Perth rock favourites join Marc Ryan and SA acts for one massive day of live music at Caltowie COFU 2026

Caltowie COFU 2026 is turning the volume up again, with a massive lineup locked in for Saturday March 21, 2026. The tiny Mid North town will come alive once more as festival-goers roll in for a full day of live music and that unmistakable ‘Chilled Out ‘n’ Fired Up’ atmosphere.

Hot on the heels of the first wave announcement featuring 19-Twenty, Dojo Rise, Funk Me, The Fuss and Surviving Sharks, Caltowie COFU has now dropped the second and final lineup reveal, led by headliner Gyroscope with guest speaker comedian Marc Ryan – The Beautiful Bogan, joining the bill.

Gyroscope brings their trademark sound to Caltowie

Gyroscope will hit the Caltowie stage with an energy that has defined them for more than two decades. The four-piece band from Perth has been a force in Australian rock since the late nineties, blending post-grunge grit with big sing-along indie hits that have earned them a loyal following across the country.

Their tracks have landed in the ARIA charts, scored long-running Triple J airplay, and taken them across Australia and overseas. Their album Breed Obsession debuted at number one, and over the years they’ve shared stages with Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182 and Oasis. Known for punchy riffs and crowd-lifting choruses, their live shows hit a perfect mix of nostalgia and pure adrenaline. A headline slot at COFU suits them down to the ground.

Homegrown talent and SA favourites

They’re joined by a strong crew of South Aussie talent, including Shadow Ministers, Witch Hunt and Destinezia, who bring a mix of indie rock, punk edge and alternative tunes to keep the energy high.

And of course, Caltowie’s own homegrown heroes Loose Change are back again, ready to belt out some bangers on their home turf. These Mid North favourites never miss a COFU and always crank up the crowd with their loud, loose, feel-good set.

Comedy with purpose

Adding even more meaning to the music is comedian Marc Ryan – The Beautiful Bogan, who will step in as guest speaker for this year’s festival. Marc’s comedy is raw, honest and big-hearted, shaped by his lived experiences with PTSD, severe anxiety and depression. He’s spent years touring regional SA, delivering more than 70 shows across the Eyre Peninsula and bringing laughs to towns that rarely get big comedy acts.

Marc brings depth, warmth and authenticity to everything he does and is a perfect match for COFU’s commitment to mental health and connection.

Where the f*ck is Caltowie?

Good question! Caltowie sits between Jamestown and Stone Hut. Blink and you’ll miss it. But on festival day, this tiny mid-north town transforms into a one-day-only rock hotspot. Since launching in 2019, Caltowie COFU has become one of SA’s favourite regional music festivals, known for its relaxed vibe, mental-health focus and mix of emerging and established artists.

With camping available, tasty food, SA brews and a crowd that always shows up ready for a good time, it’s a day and night full of connection, energy and plenty of reasons to come back.
