More loos, more loo roll and a little more peace and quiet. Yep, we’ve been listening!
There’s something pretty special about making a weekend of COFU. Great tunes, good food, a few cold drinks, mates all around and sleeping under the stars in the middle of the SA Mid North. What more could you want?
Well… judging by your feedback after COFU 2026, a few more toilets and a bit more loo roll wouldn’t go astray! 😂
We hear you, and we’re making some changes to help make camping at Caltowie Chilled Out ‘n’ Fired Up 2027 an even better experience.

So, what’s changing?
After an incredible turnout in 2026, our camping area was busier than ever. We love seeing so many of you making a weekend of it, but we also know that more campers means we need to make sure the facilities keep up.
Here’s what we’re working on for 2027:
More toilets – because nobody wants to spend their festival waiting in a queue when there are good times to be had!
More toilet paper – the little things matter, folks.
Security patrols – helping keep things settled in the camping area at night so everyone can get some shut-eye after a big day of music.
A designated accessible camping area – helping make camping more accessible for those who need to be close to accessible toilet facilities.
We’re always looking for ways to improve the COFU experience, and your feedback helps us make it happen. So keep it coming!
Camping tickets – the lowdown
You might have noticed that camping is no longer free. We know it’s a change, but with the cost of providing facilities and looking after our campers increasing, introducing a camping fee helps us make these improvements and keep the campground running as smoothly as possible.
Camping tickets are $30 + booking fee per vehicle.
A few things to remember:
You’ll need one camping ticket per vehicle, not per person.
You can purchase your camping ticket at the same time as your festival ticket.
When you arrive, check in with our camping team and collect your camping pass to display on your vehicle window.
Easy as!
When can I roll in and set up camp?
Get the tent pegs ready and dust off the swag!
Friday 19 March: Camping access from 2pm until sunset (approximately 6pm).
Saturday 20 March: Camping access from 9am to 6pm.
Once you’re set up, it’s time to kick back, catch some tunes, enjoy the atmosphere and soak up everything COFU has to offer.
Leave only footprints (and maybe a few great memories)
We love a good time as much as the next person, but let’s leave our little patch of Caltowie looking its best.
Please use the bins provided, pack up all your belongings and equipment when you leave, and leave your campsite cleaner than you found it. Mother Nature will thank you, and so will our hard-working local crew!

Ready to make a weekend of it?
We reckon some of the best COFU moments happen outside the music — catching up with mates, meeting new faces, sharing a laugh around camp and waking up in the country after a bloody good day out.
So grab your festival tickets, add your camping ticket, round up your crew and get ready for another unforgettable COFU.
Caltowie COFU 2027 is happening Saturday 20 March 2027, and we can’t wait to see you there!
🎟️ Tickets available from 11am 28th October: via Moshtix
